Frequently asked questions
FAQ blocks stay in the default page structure to provide the level of explanation these entry points need.
- Why is this tool hidden from the homepage and all-tools list?
This is a test-only release. It stays available only through the direct URL until the dataset and matching quality are validated.
- Does it call external recipe APIs on every search?
No. External recipe and ingredient APIs are collected into a normalized server cache first, and the tool searches that cache for faster and more consistent results.
- Can I still get recommendations when some ingredients are missing?
Yes. The tool considers core ingredients, missing item counts, and substitution candidates so partially possible recipes can still surface in a useful order.
