Frequently asked questions

FAQ blocks stay in the default page structure to provide the level of explanation these entry points need.

  • Which repayment mode usually gives the lowest total interest?

Equal principal often produces lower total interest because the balance drops faster. The tradeoff is a heavier monthly burden in the first years.

  • Why is equal principal heavier in the beginning?

Because the principal portion stays fixed, the early interest is still high. The payment gradually falls as the remaining balance gets smaller.

  • What should I watch out for with bullet repayment?

Monthly cash flow looks light, but the principal is repaid at maturity. Use it only when the payoff plan at the end is already clear.
