Frequently asked questions

FAQ blocks stay in the default page structure to provide the level of explanation these entry points need.

  • Can I compare products with different units?

Yes, as long as they belong to the same unit family. Weight, volume, length, and count-based products are normalized automatically before comparison.

  • What if I only know the unit or only the quantity?

The helper applies a safe fallback. Missing quantity defaults to one unit, and missing unit can fall back to each (ea) when quantity is provided.

  • Do roll or pack products normalize automatically too?

Only when the unit meaning is safely comparable. Ambiguous units such as roll, pan, or pack are compared only against the same exact unit.
